Design Notes

Initially, only the RBS was included in this RBS design. However, while recalling background knowledge of molecular biology, we remembered that a 5' UTR often precedes coding sections. We performed additional research and found that 5' UTRs serve the important purpose of improving overexpression. Thus, we included 6 arbitrary nucleotides after the RBS, making sure not to include an ATG sequence so as to prevent premature or frameshifted translation.
